About SeaWorld - San Antonio:
SeaWorld San Antonio is "the world's largest marine life adventure park and family entertainment showplace." The park covers 250 acres and is divided into four sections: a show park, a rides and slides park, a water park and an animals park.
The water park is called Lost Lagoon. Lost Lagoon features wave pools, surf beaches, slides, hidden lagoons and floats. Among the newer attractions is Castaway Cruisin', a 3.5-acre floating attraction complete with geysers, misters and water shooters.
The Great White and Steel Eel are must-rides for roller coaster fans. The Great White was the first inverted steel coaster in Texas. There are 25 different shows features at SeaWorld San Antonio, and many other traveling shows and music shows visit the park at various times.
Animal attractions include the dolphin cove and sea lion and seal sanctuary. Visitors can touch dolphins and feed dolphins, sea lions, seals and other marine animals. And of course, there's Shamu, the park's famous killer whale.
Hours and days vary by season, so visit the SeaWorld San Antonio website, or call ahead to plan a visit. Parking fees and admission are costly, so be sure to check that, too.
